Microsoft Office for (or more importantly, Microsoft Word) for Mac (any Mac) crashes relentlessly and without mercy. I tried sending it back (on the day of purchase, get the picture?) but I was turned away, having already opened the boxes and the inside sleeves.

Run, don’t walk, away from this product. Get yourself a PC computer, and get Microsoft products, for that.

    Good luck :)

If you just need to type a few emails to friends or to make a little flyer for a party or something, just get a cheap program. But if you are a professional writer or want something that can do it all after you invest a little time learning your way around, buy the MS Office, Standard or Professional as your needs require. I bought the Mac version and love the way it looks on my big high def. 24″ iMac, 2 pages wide. I am producing a book with it. If your IQ is below 50 it may be too much to handle. Otherwise, bite the bullit and get the features it offers. I also do training and seminars with Powerpoint and look forward to using the new additions added to this latest (2004) upgrade.

    P. S.: Ever notice how the people who write the majority of these reviews never should have passed any English class because they can’t spell the most basic words in the language. And they expect us to give some credibility to their negative, “cry baby” reviews.

I got a great price on Office Mac and it was shipped when it said it would. Great experience.

What a rip-off! The US price is $339.99 and the Canadian price is over $600? Why the difference? To make it worse, the Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar at this point. Canadians, you are getting ripped off!!!!! I haven’t bought it yet because I am trying to figure out if I should pay double for this product.

As a user of v.X, I was looking forward to this. Well, as much
as anyone looks forward to new MS software. Maybe a root canal would
    be more fun.

I just don’t see it. They want me to cough up $350 for a some really minor
feature additions? Even on the MS webpage, they have a hard time finding
more than 1-2 bullet ‘enhancements’ for each component. And I’d have
to believe that NoteTaker or NoteBook is a better application than whatever
MS’s v1 of their Notebook facility is. And don’t forget the all important Messenger
    integration :(

    Very disappointed.
